Menopause Help
Although menopause typically occurs in women 50 and
above, menopause also strikes those who are in their
late thirties or forties. Because younger women are
unable to recognize the signs of menopause, they are not
able to get the immediate menopause help.
Getting Menopause Help
Most women who are having menopause symptoms for the
first time may not be aware that they are suffering from
menopause, and thus need menopause help. Menopause
typically occurs among women who are 50 years old and
above, but women as young as 38 years old can begin
experiencing symptoms of pre-menopause. At this time,
they are at the peak of their careers and physical
strength. When menopause strikes this early, most women
are unable to recognize it right away, slow down and get
menopause help.
Early Menopause
When menopause strikes women who are in their late
thirties or early forties, the typical reaction is
disbelief followed by denial. Many women find it hard to
believe that what they are having are symptoms of
menopause since they are not yet "old". They end up
dismissing the symptoms and failing to get menopause
help. They try to go on with life as usual, ignoring to
go for medical check ups.
However, they eventually feel the symptoms of menopause
taking over the quality of their life and their health.
It is only then that they begin to seriously look for
menopause help. Fortunately, the Internet and media have
a wide array of information that can guide women to the
right menopause help.
How to Recognize Menopause Symptoms
Very few women are able to recognize the symptoms of
menopause in order to alleviate discomforts and serious
problems early enough. For instance, if you tend to be
fatigues and experience bouts of anxiety, they may
simply be caused by the pressure that you are going
through every day. However, if your fatigue and anxiety
are accompanied by sudden hot flashes and night sweats,
or if you are having irregular periods and dryness of
skin, then you need to confirm with your doctor if you
have just entered the pre-menopause stage.
Getting the Menopause Help You Need
Being able to identify that you are in the pre-menopause
stage solves half of your problem. You can then begin
the search for getting menopause help. Your doctor may
prescribe a menopause drug or some type of treatment to
help you get through menopause. However, you can also
explore alternative treatments such as herbal
medications but you need to keep your doctor informed as
well as make sure any outside treatment won't conflict
with the current one you that you are on.
Vigorous and daily exercise is one of most effective
advice on menopause help. At least 20 minutes of
exercising every day can help preserve bone density. A
low fat, high fiber diet that is rich in calcium,
magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids is also a natural way
of fighting the symptoms of menopause.
